1st quarter

Reports were given on projects with Eumeda® database in Milan in January and Treviso in February. The latest database for chronic diseases and in "anti-aging" medicine was presented in Monte Carlo in March. Development of a teleconsultation database with new features is being considered. The creation of a highly customized telemedicine service for some public and private entities is being considered.

NEWS 2023

DECEMBER

Operational meetings were held for the continuation of existing projects and preparatory activities for the start of new projects. Annual reports of various modules are being provided.

NOVEMBER

The national congress of @ITIM - Italian Association of Telemedicine and Medical Informatics - takes place in Rome on November 24-25, 2023. The new board presents a program full of many insights into medical informatics and artificial intelligence applied to medicine, as well as new organizational developments in eHealth.

OCTOBER

The national congress "Video Refractive Cataracts" takes place in Milan on October 27-28, 2023. A reading is devoted to the specialist medical examination of the future remotely performed with the help of medical informatics and artificial intelligence.

SEPTEMBER

Under the European Union's Horizon program for research and innovation for the period 2021-2027, the FAITH (Forecasting Artificial Intelligence Tools for Healthcare) project has been presented. TM95 is a partner in the proposing consortium.
Recent news about the resumption of the clinical trial for USH2A mutations allow the final finalization of the module for the multicenter study "Natural History of Patients with Inherited Retinal Diseases due exon 13 mutations in USH2A gene" on Eumeda® platform, lead by University of Campania "Luigi Vanvitelli".

AUGUST

Final revision of the project module "AMD, prevention/slowing down: a program model" led by Dr. Claude Boscher is underway. New experimental software alpha for evaluation of maculopathy progression/regression is also proceeding.

JULY

The "XX International Conference" on "e-Government & e-Health" was held in attendance from Desio Hospital and remotely from CNR-ITB headquarters. Various topics such as health emergency, NRP in digital transition and developments in telemedicine in recent years were affonted.

JUNE

At the "XXXIII Congress of Italian Society of Vitreoretinal Surgery, International Edition" held in Trieste June 8-10, the paper "How new healthcare software helps the retinologist for the benefit of patients" was presented. Features of recent new software used in the Eumeda® platform for retinal image comparison were presented and discussed.

MAY

After an initial interruption, data entry from the "Shwachman Syndrome Data Collection" study coordinated by geneticist Prof. Giovanni Porta will soon take place.

APRIL

New alpha versions of software for final clinical data management of ongoing studies are being developed on the Eumeda® platform. The new procedures, after suitable testing phases, will facilitate data extraction and statistical surveys for many projects.

MARCH

At the "Commission on Science and Technology for Development" (CSTD) taking place in Geneva March 27-31 at the UN building, the joint projects of OCCAM (Observatory on Digital Communication), T&C and University of Insubria involving the Eumeda® telemedicine platform will be addressed in discussion. These projects involve teleconsultations/second opinions for emerging countries and European vaccination policy.

FEBRUARY

Data collection of the projects "Comparing the learning curve of Holmium versus Thulium Laser Enucleation of the Prostate: a Single Center Experience" and "Multicentric database of endoscopic-assisted transorbital surgery" continues.

JANUARY

A module of the project "AMD and risk factors accelerating aging," led by Dr. Claude Boscher, is in initial preparation. Requests for "Second Opinion" among a group of dental physicians in the province of Varese are in progress.

DECEMBER

TM95Srl's Eumeda® platform was presented on December 1, 2022 by invitation at the "XXII Infopoverty world conference. The digital citizen: dutes and rights to build a fairer future Society," in New York in Conference Room 12 of the United Nations Glass Building.

NOVEMBER

The α software for collecting genetic and audiovestibological data from many Italian centers (ophthalmologists, audiovestibologists and geneticists) on Eumeda® platform, led by University of Campania "Luigi Vanvitelli," is ready. The multicenter observational study "Hereditary retinal dystrophy by USH2 mutation" has undergone changes after the changes decided during the meeting of October 27, 2022. We are waiting for the final ophthalmological data.

OCTOBER

The data collection of the projects "Comparing the learning curve of Holmium versus Thulium Laser Enucleation of the Prostate: a Single Center Experience" and "Multicentric database of endoscopic-assisted transorbital surgery" coordinated by Professors Federici Dehò, Paolo Castelnuovo and Davide Locatelli, respectively, continues apace.

Beginning operation of the project "Shwachman syndrome data collection" coordinated by geneticist Prof. Giovanni Porta.
Programming of specific plots for immediate visualization of disease outcomes.

The α software for data collection from 11 Italian centers (ophthalmologists, audiovestibologists and geneticists) of the multicenter study "Natural History of Patients with Inherited Retinal Diseases due exon 13 mutations in USH2A gene" on Eumeda® platform, led by University of Campania "Luigi Vanvitelli" is under construction.

JUNE

Software for data collection of the multicenter study in the Varese, Brescia and Pisa sites of the project "Multicentric database of endoscopic-assisted transorbital surgery" coordinated by Professors Paolo Castelnuovo and Davide Locatelli is being released.

MAY

The feasibility study of the clinical data flow of the project "Comparing the learning curve of Holmium versus Thulium Laser Enucleation of the Prostate: a Single Center Experience" coordinated by Prof. Federico Dehò of the University of Insubria in Varese, Italy, has ended.

APRIL

New software has been introduced on the Eumeda® platform for sharing customized health records on operating modules and new image management and comparison features.

MARCH

The data collection of the multicenter study on multiple sclerosis of Insubria University in Varese and Como and the Mondino IRCCS Neurological Institute in Pavia coordinated by Prof. Maurizio Versino has ended. Statistical surveys are in progress.

FEBRUARY

The study "RPE65-Associated Retinopathies in the Italian Population: A Longitudinal Natural History Study" coordinated by Prof. Francesca Simonelli of the Luigi Vanvitelli University of Naples has been published in IOVS. The Eumeda® platform was used to collect data and connect groups of physicians in 9 Italian cities.

JANUARY

The congress of the International Society of Telemedicine and Medical Informatics (IITM) was held at the CNR-ITB headquarters. They mainly discussed sensorics, electronic medical records, tele-homecare and robotics in telerehabilitation.
